My name is Kathy Badillo and I am the proud owner of OEM Photography. I was born and raised in Poland. At the age of 13, my family migrated to the United States. It was a big transition for all of us. I was thrown into American culture, learned English, and was exposed to a new culture. Years later, I made a move to Texas, where I began work-life, finished my college education, and eventually met my husband. Today I am a stay-at-home mom of 3 busy kiddos.
Photography was always part of my life, I truly didn’t get serious about my photography until I had my third baby. After years of non-stop paparazzi sessions with my kids, I told my husband that I outgrown my point-and-shoot camera and wanted to upgrade the quality of my images. After realizing that just buying expensive cameras wasn’t going to get me the results I wanted, I began to educate myself about camera settings, lenses, and lighting as well as a better understanding of photography in general. It was a learning process, but I'm so glad I did it!
Capturing memories is so important to me, and I know how quickly life can change. That's why I'm passionate about helping families capture special moments that they can cherish for a lifetime. I understand how busy life can be, especially as a mom, but I believe it's worth taking the time to document those fleeting moments.
If you're interested in working with me, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'd love to meet you and help you plan a session that captures the essence of your family.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and I look forward to working with you!
“I can’t say enough good things about Kathy and OEM photography. She was flexible, professional, and fun to work with during our photo shoot. Not only did she keep my two children smiling, but she managed to get several great photos of our family, which included our restless puppy! Kathy is very talented; our photos turned out amazing. I highly recommend her!”
