I’m Kathy, the photographer and heart behind OEM Photography. I was always the mom with a camera in hand—capturing the smiles, the silliness, the milestones, and all the little moments in between. After my third baby was born, I realized my little point-and-shoot camera just wasn't enough anymore. I wanted to capture my children the way I saw them—not just what they looked like, but who they were. So, I started learning. I taught myself about cameras, lenses, lighting, and the art behind creating an image that truly feels like you. What started as a way to capture my own family quickly became something I fell completely in love with.

Today, photography is about so much more than taking pretty pictures to me. It’s about preserving the moments you don’t want to forget. The tiny hands. The belly laughs. The messy hair. The hugs. The connection. The beautiful chaos of having a family.

As a mom, I know how quickly these seasons pass. That's why I want your session to feel less like a photoshoot and more like a moment in time with the people you love most.
